Mother-Daughter

PLEASE NOTE THE MOTHER-DAUGHTER RETREAT WAS CANCELLED FOR 2008.

Retreat Theme:

Celebrating Our Differences ...Growing Into Balance!

Each one of us is so unique!  God intends for us to celebrate who we are! How do we do this in our mother-daughter relationship? How can we “be ourselves” and also grow in this wonderful, sometimes painful, but always dynamic experience called the mother-daughter relationship?

“Celebrating” includes the experience of remembering, sharing thoughts and ideas, finishing unfinished conversations and becoming ever more grateful for our blessings. During this retreat, each mother and daughter will create a collage that represents memories past, today’s gift, as well as tomorrow’s hope for the future.

Our relationship with God and loved ones is such a precious gift. Mothers and daughters (age 14 and up), let’s come together to learn, talk, sing, pray, laugh and share some quality time. Together you can find new ways to grow and mature in the gift that is your mother-daughter relationship.

Come, join us for this Mother’s Day weekend retreat!  We look forward to seeing new and returning mothers and daughters!

You’ll be heading home by 11 am on Sunday!  The program begins with registration on Friday evening, May 9th from 5 until 7:30 pm (pick-up dinner included).  The retreat opens at 8pm.

This weekend retreat will be led by Dr. Ellen K. McCormack, Ph.D., an associate retreat director at Our Lady of Florida and Trish Gaffney, LCSW, CAP.

The stipend for the weekend is $370 for each family pair of mother and daughter.  Each additional family member (daughter, granddaughter, grandmother) is $130.  Registration and deposit are required.  Contact our retreat office, Dr McCormack, or print and complete the registration form and send it back with your deposit.
