Opposition is a Good Sign The works of God always meet with opposition so that the Divine Magnificence may shine forth. It is when things appear to be crashing down to the ground that you will see them even more be raised on high. “The Lord has dominion over life and death. He leads down […]
Finding Peace in Storms Your ship is at sea without sails and without oars. Nevertheless, it is guided by the great Pilot who will certainly bring you to a secure port. It is battered by storms and winds so that the Power and Wisdom of the great Pilot will shine forth for you.
Purification Through Trials Do not be disturbed at the passing trials you are going through, since you must know that similar trials will come often. Our Divine Savior visits those servants who are dear to Him and purifies them with trials to develop their fidelity. Be of good heart. You are on the right road.

Accepting our Faultiness Don’t be frightened if you seem to be imperfect in your practice of virtue. You notice your faults, but for the most part, they are not voluntary. Humble yourself before God, show Him your wounds with gentle reverence and love and ask Him to heal you.
Lift Up Your Heart Never look at trials directly in the face, whether they are household chores or other afflictions. Look, rather, at the face of our dear, dear Crucified Love, Jesus, Who is the King of sorrows and sufferings. When you do that, everything will seem sweet. Lift your heart on high in God.
