Let Go Into God Abandon yourself always more into the loving bosom of our dear God. Don’t be afraid of dryness or desolation or of anything else, but with a courageous heart press on ahead. How pleasing to God is the loving abandonment of our will into His.
Surrender to God Oh, how gentle are the divine attractions! Let us run, let us run after that dear Lover of our souls, casting ourselves always more totally into the bosom of His most holy love. Don’t be afraid of troubles or daily falls or great trials. His mercy takes care of them.
Silence before God I understand that you cannot meditate as before; also that your soul is suffering and you try to force it to meditate. Thanks be to God. Accepting of Ridicule The dislikes you experience, the scorn, the ridicule, the humorous remarks at your expense, etc., should be accepted with the deepest gratitude to God. They are like logs which form the woodpile of love on which you will be offered as a victim of love.
Softening Sharpness Keep alive in your memory that most holy precept of love which Jesus gave to his disciples before going to his death, “Love one another as I love you” (Jn 15:12).
